A dude called Flippycat thought it would be a good idea to stack 60,000 dominos to make 60 big walls and then hit them to watch them fall. I don’t blame him; it’s so satisfying watching all that colour fall.
The video took over 65.5 hours to shoot, over the course of eight days. And a distance of 14 feet! It only took 12 seconds to fall, however. [Flippycat via Buzzfeed]

jOBS Movie Review: a Satisfying Experience
Watch 850 People Fall Over to Break the Human Mattress Domino World Record
Domino's Says This Is the Ultimate Pizza Delivery Vehicle
Excellent comment about this on the youtube page “Do NOT believe the official “Government” story on these walls falling. It is obviously a controlled demolition. Also, if you pause at 1:09, you can see Alec Baldwin’s face in the “Dominoes”. ”
As to the actual video, I found it unsatisfying for some reason that i can’t put my finger on.
It would have almost been more satisfying for them to accidently knock the whole thing down after 60hrs work..
hmmm im sure artistically it says something about man made achievements and destruction, but i just think why! a long process and a fairly dull result. oh well
I don’t know if you let it play to the end and noticed the ‘Extras’ video that was playing on the top left, it appeared to show the process in reverse… which looked ubercool!
this is true but if you watch a building demolition, a dropped glass of water, a piece of paper burning etc in reverse they look amazing too
Life could only be better if we lived it in reverse. Like Lister!
lol yeah, although i dont think cat would agree after the toilet incident
The “Failures” video is an even better watch:
