Family of Man Who Died Mid-Threesome Wins £2 Million In Compensation

In a story that could only take place in the lawsuit capital of the world, America, the family of a man who died while having it away with two other women (who weren't his wife), has won compensation from his doctor.

Way back in 2009, a one William Martinez, aged 31 at the time, had been suffering from shooting chest pains. He'd gone to a clinic, the CardioVascular Group in Lawrenceville, for a check-up and had been booked in for some tests the following week.

Unfortunately, Martinez decided it would be a brilliant idea to have a threesome with two other women, the day before the scheduled tests. This strenuous activity gave him a heart attack, causing him to kick the bucket.

His family managed to successfully convince a jury that, because the cardiologist hadn't warned him to avoid said strenuous activity, that it was at least partly his fault. The court awarded the tidy sum of $5 million to his estate before reducing that to just $3 million, as it was found that Martinez's death was "40 per cent" his own fault. Still, that netted Mrs. Martinez and her two kids a hefty £2 million for her husband's ill-advised indiscretion. [The Telegraph]
