If You Want to Be James Bond You'll Need 007's Awesome New Watch

By Sam Gibbs on at

007's 23rd outing, Skyfall, will mark the seventh time Bond has turned to Omega for all his timekeeping needs, and to celebrate, Omega's busted out a fancy new limited edition Bond watch that you can own for yourself.

5,007 of the special Skyfall editions of Omega's Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M will be made to celebrate the film's release. Just like every other Seamaster, it's a serious dive watch that's waterproof down to 600m. It's got cool glowing blue accents from "Super-LumiNova" laced insets and the hour hand, while the minute hand glows green so you can tell the difference in murky waters.

The 7 o'clock position has the 007 logo embedded in the face, while the clockwork mechanism has "Skyfall 007" engraved into its rear, which is visible through a sapphire crystal back. The thing is powered by Omega's fancy new Co-Axial calibre 8507 movement, so it should be seriously accurate too.

Lord knows how much this is going to set you back, but if you're a serious Bond fan, money should be no object anyway. At least you can try telling your better half that, after you've just spent all your life savings on this beauty. [Omega]
