That didn’t take long. Give the iPhone Dev team a couple of days and they can seemingly do anything, including pump out a jailbreak for the just released iOS 6.
This is a developer-only release, meaning it’s not meant for the faint of heart, and should be approached with extreme caution. It also doesn’t work on the iPhone 4S yet, but if you fancy tinkering; don’t mind losing your unlockable baseband, and have apps you want to test, you can try it out now. One caveat though, Cydia isn’t quite ready yet, so the only way you can access the phone is over SSH or afc2 — if you don’t know what they are, I’d stay well clear of this one. [iPhone Dev Team]

I don’t see much point jailbreaking dev-only releases unless you really have to. Mainly because Apple release updates so often before the full release that it must be a pain to have to continuously jailbreak every time there’s an update.
I suppose it’s ironic that Siri would actually be useful if your phone was mounted as in the above picture.
Though I’d have thought the user would be asking for the address of a local locksmith, rather than a reminder for Dad’s birthday.
Still waiting for the ATV3 jailbreak :/
Surely they should of kept this up their sleeve? Apple will now just fix that security hole they’re using before the next release of it, they could have kept it secret until the final version is released then it would take Apple longer to block it?
It uses the limera1n exploit therefore it is already known about by Apple. This is the reason why it is only available for the iPod 4g,iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4, and not newer.
