If you look across your desk at the pile of charging cables, docks, flash drives, and other USB-powered accessories, you’ll quickly come to the conclusion that you can never have too many USB ports. Even the MondoHub’s impressive array of 28 ports will slowly, but surely, all get filled.
It’s certainly a step-up from the previous multi-port champ, which packed 16 USB connections. Particularly when you realise that four of its ports are high-speed, perfect for those USB 3.0 devices that no one really has yet. And so that using the MondoHub doesn’t result in a nasty surprise on your power bill, every single USB port has its own on/off button so they can be individually activated as needed.

USB is like some sort Moores Law – you’ll always have double the number devices than ports.
This thing would be good for people to rig up external hard drives to. Assuming it goes to pc (probably via USB) I can imagine getting a fair bit of storage with that.
But I have 29 USB peripherals…
Like it. Its always going to be the same. Less available than required.
But just how on earth do you fill up a 28 port usb hub? Filling it up for the sake of filling it up?
i guess people have 28 things that have a USB connection on the end. I doubt they’re all used regularly but I guess it’s nice to have things patched in, so when the opportunity arises they can just press the power switch; which I think is a really nice function of this.
i was thinking how it’s a bit like audio mixing desks, and then how it would be pretty cool for this USB hub to have space for a ‘scribble strip’, so you could label up your connections.
shizzle my dizzle man….28 usb connection thingys? they must be lazy enough not to transfer usb content to a usb harddrive or they might just have like 56tb’s worth of hard drive….shizzle my dizzle man !
Or….few HDDs, usbs and other peripherals that use USB. But still can’t get my head around how 28 can be used out.
Meh…oh well.
I just want to fill all ports at the same time with 28 usb cables with various connectors on them so it looks like an 80s hair band member.
