The Avengers has been and gone; Prometheus is done and dusted — next up is the Dark Knight Rises. IMAX tickets are now on sale, so if you’re interested in seeing it, now’s the time to bust out your credit card.
We thought we’d throw this post over to you, like an open thread for all things Dark Knight Rises. Discuss the trailers, the lego, and the teasers; set yourselves up an unofficial Giz UK reader cinema trip, or even fight (nicely) over whether it can possibly be better than Prometheus — my money is on yes, but only just.
Thanks Udimion!

Is the website actually back up again finally?
Yeah, you’re two days late guys
Most of the BFI tickets for the opening weekend went within a few hours of opening at midnight on the 11th. That is, if you managed to coax the website into working.
I booked at 6AM on the 11th, and I had to settle for a 12:00AM showing a week after the opening weekend. The mid-week tickets are still easier to get hold of.
Ahh good reminder. Booked
I think this could be the greatest action/thriller ever. Batman Begins is a very good film, The Dark Knight is nigh-on flawless… if The Dark Knight Rises doesn’t deliver, then I will be grossly disappointed.
All true. With the last film, Nolan brought so much class to a genre where typically class was lacking. That’s a tough act to follow.
I just hope he doesn’t ruin it with barely believable action set-pieces or trite feminine clichés from Hathaway.
I don’t mind maybe one unrealistic action setpiece so long as it’s done stylistically, making it more awe-inspiring than “FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU…”
