SwiftKey’s a superb little alternate keyboard for Android-based smartphones, which analyses your typing patterns and tries to guess the next word you’re about to type. Now the makers have committed the treasonous task of analysing the Queen’s speech, so you can text like our monarch.
The update comes in the form of a selectable, downloadable pack within the current version of the app, which is populated with mannerisms generated by scanning Mrs Windsor’s old speeches and building a model of her language. The most common phrase used in public by the Queen is the rather workmanlike “My Government Will” which she’s uttered some 217 times in public, the poor dear.
The Queen-cloning data pack’s part of the SwiftKey X and SwiftKey Tablet X versions of the keyboard, which are available on Android, should you fancy some patriotic text entry this weekend. [SwiftKey]
