Satellite Eyes is a smart OS X app that changes you desktop wallpaper to an aerial view of where you are, each time you change locations.
So when you load up your laptop in central London, you might glimpse the Shard. Then when you go home to Wimbledon, you’ll see… lots of tennis courts. The maps come in various styles, like aerial images or abstract watercolours. And if you use more than one monitor, you’ll see even more of the satellite view. Maybe you’re not jet-setting from Bangkok to Milan and back. Maybe you haven’t even put on pants yet today. But that doesn’t mean you can’t appreciate this cleverness. [BoingBoing]

How depressing.
Install it on a schizophrenic, conspiracy theorist friends’ computer for extra fun.
“THEY’VE FOUND ME!????”
Damn, this would just freak me out, I don’t want to be tracked by skynet.
I know my computer knows where it is anyway but for me, this just goes to far.
Its like your desktops saying “I seeee you mwhaha”. Its just…creepy
birdseye view of our locations isn’t the best way to make a desktop wallpaper… it would be nicer if they gave you a nice skyline photo of your where abouts
Android has had a Live Wallpaper that shows your current Maps position for years – they should sue
