Two UK Teenagers Plead Guilty to Being Part of Lulzsec Hacker Team

19-year-old Ryan Cleary and 18-year-old Jake Davis have admitted to being the surprisingly youthful representatives of Lulzsec in the UK, taking responsibility for hacking/attacking the Serious Organised Crime Agency (Soca) site and many others during 2011.

As well as facing blame for attacking News International, Sony, Nintendo and 20th Century Fox, Cleary is also wanted in the US for other hacking crimes. So perhaps the idea of pleading guilty here and ending up in a comfy UK prison appeals more than facing possible extradition to the US?

The boys' trial will take place in April of 2013, with Cleary denied bail due to previously breaching the "you can't go on the internet" part of a previous order. [BBC]
