It seems we're not the only ones taking shelter from the rain in good ol'Blighty at the moment -- Google's heading indoors too. Android users can now navigate their way around inside as well as outdoors in the UK, just like our American cousins have been able to for a while now.
More than 40 venues, including train stations; concert halls and arenas; museums; shopping centres, and even airports are now mapped on the inside, which should be handy the next time you get lost indoors.
To use the maps, all you have to do is zoom in on down on the building and be using an Android phone. This is the kind of awesome Google thing I hope iPhone users will get access to as well, once Google releases its own standalone app for iOS 6 that is. [Google]
