Google's Nexus 7 Set to Flood the UK, With Dixons Introducing it to Mr. Mainstream

The omnipresent Dixons group of high street shops will shortly begin selling Google's Nexus 7 tablet, giving the 7" tab an ever better chance of establishing itself as Android's #1 superstar piece of hardware.

As with Carphone Warehouse, the Currys/PC World/Dixons shops will only be selling the more expensive version of the Nexus 7 with the 16GB of internal storage space onboard, which is now ready for pre-order at the usual price of £199. That's going to look like quite the bargain for Mr Mainstream when racked up alongside the £400 iPads.

Dixons has given the Nexus 7 a UK launch date of July 19. [Dixons via Android Central]
