It’s so close I can almost taste it. The Dark Knight Rises premieres this Friday, but if you haven’t already got tickets I’m afraid you’re probably out of luck. My local cinemaplex is sold out through till Tuesday, if you can believe it. Still, here are a couple more trailers to keep your appetite whet.
I have really, really high hopes for Nolan’s conclusion to what’s potentially the best superhero trilogy ever made, and if you pay any attention to the showcase one-line reviews it’ll be a “master piece”, “jaw-dropping”, “legendary” and “epic”. Till is something you use in a shop.
No, I think it is “till” and not “til”…”till” has more than one meaning.
I always thought “til” was short for until. So why would you put an extra “l” on it?

OK, so having read dictionary.com, despite its clear Americanisms, I’m appalled to capitulate that “till” is acceptable. Pah!
Not only is ’till’ correct, it’s actually an older word than ‘until’, with ’til being an invention of the last century.
As a self-confessed Grammar Gestapo, this has upset me more than when I found out that CONtroversy is the correct pronunciation and not conTROversy.
Am I the only person who’s really not THAT bothered about this film? Batman Begins was great, TDK was decent but incredibly overrated imo but there’s nothing about this film which screams “amazing” from any of the trailers.
It’s on the Orange Wednesday list rather than the Day 1 list.

I’ve been good and not seen any of the trailers for this film as trailers these days show way too much in my opinion. Going with my better half on Friday to see this at the O2 superscreen!

My girlfriend wanted to go and see Magic Mike but thank god some of her girl-friends went to see it with her instead of me. Anyway I’m going to see it too on Friday at Southampton’s IMAX screen. Cost an arm and a leg but should be worth it!
