Our video team here has been working around the clock on what I think is one of the funniest tech videos I’ve seen in all my years. Then again, I am biased: they’ve spoofed my favourite scene from one of my favourite movies (and books!), American Psycho, and it stars our office-mates from TechRadar.
Hope you get a small giggle out of it, at the very least! And if you have no flippin’ clue what it’s in reference to, a.) watch this scene from the movie, and b.) buy the book STAT.

What an iPad and Microsoft Surface Parody Commercial Looks Like
pretty well made – got a lol out of me.
Thanks Nick; means a lot to us, given how amazing your work is!
It’s a great scene that – I love it just ooooz’s akwardness and tension over something so meaningless. Using that on current day smartphones is genius idea and the spirit is captured well!
Hahahahaha, I actually only watched American Psycho the other day for the first time, that scene was amazing, “I can’t believe Paul got a better business card than me!”
Only thing missing is what happens next…
“HEY PAUL!”
It parodies the scene, but misses the point very slightly – in American Psycho, the business cards were fundamentally all the same, and it’s only Bateman’s obsession with his image that forces him to note all the differences no-one else notices.
Alright, spoilsport.
You’ve just helped me stumble across something hilarious! Youtube’s knew interactive transcript, especially funny on the original clip you posted a link to. Includes apparent quotes like “Silly embryo” and “almighty allah”
The same! Did you not here the man, bone colouring, eggshell colouring, raised lettering.
I can’t believe you prefer the original to tech radar’s.
What’s wrong with me? Now i’m sweating.
I agree, also if we’re splitting hairs the S3′s the worst looking of the lot!
Top video though Kat, will share!
Having them all compare virtually identical Apple products would have made me smile more
Ah I love that film so much. Cheers for the giggle Kat
