While many people—not least RIM executives—were hopeful that BlackBerry 10 would surface before the end of 2012, crushing news last week from RIM confirmed it would be pushed back to 2013. BlackBerryOS has posted what appears to be a leaked RIM roadmap, showing the BlackBerry 10 devices we can expect in 2013. If the company is still alive and kicking by then, that is.
The document suggests that two new phones—the London and Nevada—will launch at the same time as the OS in the first quarter of 2013. The London is, as the document depicts, a touchscreen device while the Nevada sticks with the standard QWERTY keyboard design.
The document also shows a tablet device, codenamed Blackforest, due for release in the third quarter of 2013, as well as two other phones called Nashville and Naples. And, perhaps most amusing of all, if the document is to be believed a 4G version of the Playbook to land sometime before the end of 2012.
Of course whether this is real is, as always, up for debate. The company already has a huge stack of unsold hardware—all these launches will likely add to that stockpile, if they can’t turn their fortunes around by then.

The ‘Strictly Confidential’ part made me laugh
I laughed because it assumes RIM is still around in 2013.
Come on Flash Sale! they won’t survive until 2013
And what of their products is worth buying even in a sale? At least with the Touchpad webOS was pretty decent (except the lack of apps) and it runs Android pretty well.
blackberry’s aren’t the worst phones in the world, great for email, texting and BBM in my opinion
i’d probably buy another playbook even though i just sold mine, it didn’t have the best or greatest number of apps, but it had a good screen, good sound, great touch gestures and the way it connected to my blackberry via blackberry bridge was a breathe of fresh air compared to other tablets and phone connections, blackberry bridge with a proper connection
also the spec of the playbook was good, they just need to unlock it so the good people of XDA Forums can get to work on Android for it
Or you could just buy a Nexus 7?
But if Blackberry do a flash sale, the playbook will sell like hotcakes. I would buy one and androidify it if it came under £100
already have
thats why i’ve sold my playbook
The playbook is a nice bit of kit and the OS is great. As for apps it has got quite a few good games, not many utilities. It’s browser is unrivalled though, makes most apps pointless. Playing along to million pound drop online is great. The device is sooo worth the money.
my favourite was html5 grooveshark
And on this day, not a single **** was given.
