London at night is pretty spectacular; all lit up in a neon glow, but with a kind of class only big, tall shiny buildings can give you, not the kind of tacky glitzy-glam of Vegas. Difficult to top then, apart from when shot from space.
With the whole world seemingly arriving on our door steps for the Olympics, it's kind of fitting to see London and the south of Britain in all its yellow night-light glory shot from orbit. Truly beautiful. [NASA via Gizmodo Australia]
