Facebook is being used as a mild-mannered revenge portal by some women, with one in four ladies admitting to having used social sites to post unflattering photos of their ex-BFFs on purpose, to settle a score.
The data, compiled by MyMemory, claims most of the women who owned up to posting bad pictures of their friends did so after a falling out with the person pictured, with nearly a third saying they did it as revenge for seeing a photo of themselves they didn't like posted to a social site of some sort.
Mymemory.com asked 1,500 women for their thoughts on picture sharing. Rebecca Huggler, co-founder of the site said: "To see that so many women deliberately commit ‘photo sabotage’ and upload unflattering pictures of friends is somewhat surprising, particularly when you consider how many said they’d be mad if the same was done to them."
