YouTube's stepping up your crummy videos to the next level. It's opening a studio in Google's office in Soho, London, that'll allow people to go in and commandeer some professional equipment, as well use and abuse some fully staffed editing suites. Ninja cat videos are never going have to looked so good.
It's not quite open to just anyone of course, only a YouTube partner will be able to book time in the studio. Still, with professional equipment and editors, we could see YouTube channels start to rival TV channels in quality, which can only be a good thing.
Now, time to see if I can get in somehow and launch myself on the internet's goggle box. [Telegraph]
