Not too many major games developers seem to be too keen on Windows 8, with many companies not looking forward to the Metro-infused system, and Gabe Newell of Valve calling the latest Windows iteration a "catastrophe". Electronic Arts on the other hand, has said that it's ready to embrace the new operating system and to support Windows 8 Phone.
Peter Moore, EA's chief operating officer, has stated to Bloomberg that the company is "working very closely with Microsoft to understand what their views on gaming navigation are." He leads on to say that "anything that allows more platforms to be adopted quickly that have a gaming element is good for Electronic Arts."
