OK, so those GTA V screenshots we saw the other day were pretty damn good looking, almost too good to be in-game shots. Well, these new grabs out of Rockstar look even better. There’s no way these are in-game shots, on current generation consoles, surely?
Parachuting’s nothing new, but tennis? That’ll be a first for GTA. I’m all for extracurricular activities, as long as they don’t interfere with stealing cars, running over pedestrians, and blowing stuff up, mind. [Rockstar via Kotaku]

WOW.. thing is GTA has always kept ingame graphics for its cut scenes, its never used advance video like most games, so i really hope its this good
Those graphics are impressive, almost too good for current consoles, but a PC could put them out, perhaps all these preview shots are of a PC version, only to have the textures compressed down for console?
There is no way those can be from console, seriously impressive if they are but i highly doubt it.
GTA:IV’s graphics on PC are still very impressive for a 4 year old game.
And these just look awesome!
I just hope that they still keep the ability for PC users to mod the game if we choose
The graphics are piss poor when you look closely, just loads of blur thrown on top of them. The texture detail is too poor for this to be PC….. I hope so anyways cause I’m not impressed with it.
These graphics look brilliant to me! I absolutely loved the original GTA, Vice City and GTA4, and judging by how this is looking and the teaser trailers earlier, gta5 will be a winner. Can’t wait!

ive loved GTA since the top down days, that and syndicate were my first exposure to games where it was a case of “here’s a city, now go do what the fuck you like” awesemo
The texture resolution on those plants looks pretty suspect – alpha channel looks 1-bit…
Lighting overall looks significantly improved from previous versions.

i really hope these are not finished shots from next gen consoles because if they are then im not buying one as they dont look alot better than current gen….not as much as they should
the textures dont look that good specially on the plants and on the clothes on the bike riders
the other textures looked glazed over to make them look more real which is not good

the image of the motobikes reminds me of the shots and clips they released for motostorm on the ps3, they looked great till you played the game and realised they dont look all that good as you thought lol
