The news giant has cited four different sources that are "familiar with the plans" for the date and the smaller screen, which is apparently set to be manufactured by both LG Display and AU Optronics.
Who knows what resolution the machine will be packing, but we can assume its going to be Retina ready much like the current range of iDevices. Apple's press conference is due September 12th, where the next iPhone is expected to make an appearance.
