Garbage trucks, planes, helicopters, and awesome-looking Lambos, it’s all in a day’s “business” according to Rockstar. Apparently this is the last teaser we’ll see for a few weeks, but we’ve yet to actually get a release date or any solid details for these fantastic-looking screens.
We don’t even know if these are console graphics or what. Maybe what we’re looking at here is what it’ll look like on PCs, but even then that’s some serious graphical prowess for a open-world game. Oh Rockstar, stop teasing us and give it to us already. We’re yearning for another dose of car-stealing debauchery, which only GTA can sate. [Rockstar via Kotaku]

GTA III was the reason I bought a PS2, GTA V may well be the reason I get back in the game.
A laser sight on an AK47?
Looks like the laser meets the AK47 at the trigger.
With that in mind, I’m pretty sure the laser sight is coming FROM the chopper.
It’s coming from the gun. Alot of assault rifles and handguns have the sites fitted at the trigger or in front of the magazine (in this case in front of the magazine)
You can get a laser sight fitted for almost any rifle/gun these days.
It just seems slightly unnecessary is all, I mean, once he pulls that trigger, they aren’t going anywhere near where they’re meant to!
It is coming from a sniper on the chopper. You can see the laser beam pass behind the back of the gun, to the guy’s chest. And in the top photo you can see a sniper hanging off the side of the chopper with a big old laser beam coming out of his gun.

To answer one of the mysteries: The first two images above are not in-game graphics so it really doesn’t matter if they are pc screenies or console ones. A pre-rendered video will always look great.
After playing Saints Row the Third with a friend online all the way to the end I am really looking forward to GTV. I hadn’t played a video game in 10 years until I gave SR3 a try and wow, that is the most fun I’ve had on the computer in years!

Can’t wait to buy this, play it for a few hours and then let it collect dust. Good times.
This’ll eat a whole lot more than a few hours for me. I’ve loved all the games in the series so far, RDR was great, and LA noire was fun too (although really it didn’t need to be open world).
No real comment on this until I see an actual video of action that happens in game. Pretty pictures mean diddly squat to me at the moment.
