There have been some incredible projects on Kickstarter, asking for your money almost as often as Nigerian royalty, but this is all to help their dreams become a reality including the guys building their own Battlestar Galactica Viper. But now Kickstarter has something cute and fun to watch in the form of the Be The Robot (BERO) open source robot that can be controlled via Bluetooth from any Android device.
The little guy has a customisable interface and can be programmed to do many amazing little things including: dancing to the music your phone is playing, reacting to incoming notifications and even walking around. Don’t forget that he’s fully open source too, so you can get started on a little bit of world domination if you fancy it.
Currently this project has 31 days to generate another $25,000 (£15,790) so if you want one you better get donating! I know I will be. [Kickstarter via Mashable]

Hmmmmm, can I justify £140 on a gold dancing robot….
Can you justify not spending £140 on a gold dancing robot?
Well if I was to buy any I’d want the 6 movement one (i.e. dancing), and it’s pointless just getting the silver one…
It’ll go very nicely with your gold plated vacuum cleaner.
