Android Apps Of The Week: uTorrent, Split Decision, and More

By Leslie Horn on at

Before you head out on your weekend adventures, you have a pit stop first. That's right, it's time for another edition of the best Android apps of the week. This time around, we've got a torrent downloader, a travel app, and so much more awesome stuff.

uTorrent: Can't wait to download that TV show. Now you can do it from your phone. From the people who created BitTorrent more than 10 years ago comes an app that lets you find and download torrents on your device with you no size or speed limits. Free

Auto Trader: Owning a new car is fun. Finding one is not. This one aids you in your search by showing new and used vehicles in your area, as well as information about dealerships, and contact information for independent sellers. Free

United Airlines: This one is pretty self-explanatory. If you're flying United, you'll want it to help you check in and keep tabs on your flight. A little convenience that makes traveling with the opressive airline slightly less painful. Free

Split Decision: Know a lot of really random, obscure facts? Here's something for you—a new Android app based on the trivia card game Mental Floss. If your crazy brain can hold all kinds of weird tidbits, you'll have fun with this title. Free

MiniSquadron: Considering it's the weekend, you definitely don't want to think too hard. Which is why you should download this game, which takes you into the skies to battle with other cartoon planes. BTW no cartoon planes were harmed in the making of this game. £1.99
