Motorola announced a collection of new Android phones for the US last night, although it was rather light on details of launches elsewhere in the world. But we may see the Droid M here, at least, with a new chipset inside.
According to Pocket-Lint, the Droid M will hit the UK later this year, although it'll lose its current 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor in favour of an Intel chipset. That's something of a surprise given how impressive the Qualcomm S4 is, as the current Intel chips don't offer anything like the same levels of performance as the dual-core S4.
The form factor of the phone will stay the same, though, meaning we'll see the phone's 4.3" Super AMOLED display inside that curved chassis, along with the same Kevlar casing we saw protecting Motorola's first Android Razr last year. [Pocket-Lint]
