Jelly Bean For Samsung Galaxy S III is Rolling Out... In Poland

By Jon Partridge on at

It looks like Polish Samsung Galaxy S III owners are first in line to get in on the Jelly Bean magic, as reports have stated that the latest Android update for Samsung's flagship device is rolling out around Eastern Europe first.

According to ZDNet, forum reports have emerged detailing that the update has become available in Poland through Samsung's Kies synchronisation software, which might make UK owners a little bit jealous. Other countries such as Romania have also been reported to have gotten the update, according to SamMobile.

Samsung has previously said that the update would be coming out in October, so it looks like it has started coming out a little bit early. Jelly Bean on the S III comes with the usual Samsung customisations, but it also includes the Google Now personal assistant feature. Other features include better performance, multiple homescreen modes, a new notification bar, and a resizeable pop-out video player window.

With the Eastern European release here, we can expect the Jelly Bean magic to start heading out to other territories soon. [XDA-Developers, SamMobile via ZDNet]
