Time to check over the tent; book holiday for three days, and stock up on crisps, sandwiches and chocolate bars -- your iPhone 5 queue day could be as soon as Friday, September 21st. You are that desperate, right?
Take this with a massive pinch of salt, as with all rumours, but the timing seems logical. An anonymous source "close to a major UK carrier" told Geeky Gadgets that the iPhone 5 would be on sale in all the network's stores come Friday, September 21st, and by extension, everywhere else.
Of course, if you're that mad keen on Apple's phone that you'd buy it no questions asked, before all the reviews and testing hit the collective consciousness, your best bet would to be to pre-order it. Speculation puts pre-orders up sometime after Wednesday, possibly as soon as this Friday. Then again, you won't get oodles of extra Apple staff clapping your walk into the store that way, but you can just sit back and relax while Mr. DHL delivers your new and shiny gadget. Can you put a price on that kind of convenience? I think not. [Geeky Gadgets]
