Following the tradition of putting big, mainstream artists into the Bond-shaped limelight, Skyfall’s theme will be vocalised by none other than our pop diva, Adele. Let’s hope it’s just a little bit better than the Jack White-Alisha Keys duo, Another Way to Die. Oh, and there’s a new UK poster to ogle too.

Bob Dylan is an excellent lyricallist, but he is not blessed with a voice. He cannot carry a tune that well and when he does it’s with minimalist effort. Not any more anyway and he has admitted this. Don’t get me wrong, I do love the Dylan but that opinion isn’t that far off from the truth. Compared to the fact that it is coming from the one and only Adele – with a voice like that, she can say whatever she bloody well wants!

That was a Very non-bond song for a very non-bond bond film and it worked really well, i like what they did with casino royale, after the Brosnan years i think Bond needed to go back to its roots, now it’s time to inject a bit of fun back into the franchise and i hope they pull that off with skyfall, the new Q looks very good
Yeah I agree. Great song on its own too. Can’t go past a bit of Shirley Bassey for the classics though!

Awesome, I preferred Duffy’s “Rain On Your Parade” song when they chose the Keys/White song for Quantum of Solace.
Duffy’s rendering would have been a great choice for Bond theme, shame they went with the lack-luster melody from Keys and White.

I’d agree it’s a grower that song. Hated it at first but grew to like it. certainly far better than Madonna’s efforts on Die Another Day
