Hey, you know what would be a nice, cathartic response to the tsunami of iPhone 5 coverage? Shooting it with a giant ass Barrett .50 caliber sniper rifle.
Our old friend Rated RR pumped a few humongous rounds into the phone, and it held up surprisingly well, considering it had been shot with .50 caliber bullets. Don’t try this at home, yadda yadda—unless you think you can do better. [YouTube]

Nor do I wish to see it blended, blown up, dropped from ridiculous heights, put in liquid nitrogen and then shattered or any of the hundreds of other stupid ways to destroy a piece of tech thought up by a bunch of people desperate for publicity for their site.
