Why Not Listen to a Speaker Mounted in a Skull?

By Sam Gibbs on at

You love listening to beats that shake your cranium, so why not take it a stage further and pipe your music through a pumping skull? Meet Jean Michel Jarre's latest creation, the Aeroskull -- just slap your iPhone right in the top.

It'll deliver 70W of sounds to your eardrum, using two small treble speakers and a sub. There's 30-pin dock connector (they didn't read the writing on the wall, hey?) in the top, or you can use the 3.5mm jack or stream music over Bluetooth. You get a colour-matched bone-shaped remote too, so you won't even have to get off your arse to change the track or crank up the tunes.

It's available in 11, err, striking colours, for just £349-a-pop. Not exactly kids speaker-dock money, but you can't put a price on show-piece design, right?
