Ferrari Driver's No Claims Bonus Survives High Speed Track Spin

By Gary Cutlack on at

This video shows the moment a Ferrari driver spun out on a race track, before miraculously saving himself, and his posh red car, in a rather worrying high-speed incident.

The racer wobbled a little on a fairly straight stretch of track, which was enough to encourage the back end of the car to try to overtake the front, spinning the flashy car around at a terrifyingly high speed. A bit of luck, and the decision to let the car roll along backwards for a while, saved a bit of damage to the crash barriers and a lot of damage to the car.

And he left just enough room for a cyclist to squeeze past between himself and the barriers. [Jalopnik]
