The iPad Mini is coming next week, and there’s a lot we think we already know about this dwarf. The parts keep piling up, and now we have the device’s rumoured display to add to the heap.
Wireless parts company ETrade Supply posted pictures of touchscreen that’s around 8-inches, is 162mm long by 124mm wide, and has the same 4:3 aspect ratio as the regular iPad. Translation: this small iPad will look probably look like an iPad. Surprise! We’ll know everything next Tuesday, but since we’ve seen so many alleged parts, we might not be too shocked. A Week With the iPad Mini
Does anyone actually care? Yes it’s coming, yes it’s gong to have a screen and yes people are going to buy it. End of.
I must admit, I thought exactly this.
It’s a bit dark.
Do the apple articles never end D:
Serious suggestion. Never click on an Apple article again. If the majority of people aren’t reading them, they will go away (or at least lessen). However, Apple articles are (according to Kat) among the most popular here, even if everyone who doesn’t own an Apple product boycotted Apple articles, I’m not sure it would make enough of a difference.
Ah the ‘Ignore it and hope it goes away method’.. 14 year old me knows it well
Apple articles will never go away unless Apple does (and even they we would get endless (What happened to Apple articles) since this is a tech news site and Apple make newsworthy tech. However the reasons we get “Here are the tiny screws that are going to be holding the new iPad Mini together” type articles is because people are interested in them. Not you, not me, possibly not even the majority of commenters here. But this blog makes its money through advertising, advertising requires pagehits, getting pagehits requires popular stories and it appears that these type of stories ARE popular. Thus the only way to make them go away is to make them less popular, then Giz will try to find something else we will be interested in.
Dammit.. http://xkcd.com/859/
)
I have a problem where I read way more giz articles than I should. There’s been times having 100 tabs open for articles I have saved up to read and haven’t read yet
. I also don’t mind apple articles minus when they’re overdoing it or if there’s a trolling/obnoxious tone in the article. It makes me wonder what I’d be like if I actually had a job atm and less free time…
I balanced my checkbook today!
wouldn’t that be a chequebook? and what the hell are you doing with a chequebook, it’s the 21st Century you know.
Oh dear, excuse my grammatical error
.
I was just mocking how irrelevant the updates on iPad are now
As are the updates in my life.
No, I’m glad to hear your finances are in order. That sort of thing is important, certainly more so than an Apple story.
No Americanisms over here thank you very much!
I wouldn’t dream of besetting such filth upon this webpage!
