Samsung’s latest Galaxy SIII ad starts off all cutesy: a family guy heading off on a work trip, saying goodbye to his young family. His kids have even made him a cute video to watch on the plane, and his wife has… hey now, his wife has been rather more adventurous.
Of course, we may be reading more into the dialogue than we’re supposed to but… no, no we’re not. Also worth pointing out is the rather unlikely speed with which video seems to be transferred using NFC in the ad. Sigh. [YouTube]

The annoying thing is that whenever I try to share a sex tape via NFC people just don’t seem to appreciate it. My parents didn’t even know how to get it working!
On a technical note the video doesn’t transfer by NFC, the NFC sets up a wifi direct connection, besides which, it’s an advert, adverts lie.

We don’t even know how long the video is. If it’s just a quick flash you wouldn’t need to shorten the sequence.

mms costs way too much money to send and is too limited in capacity and most emails are limited to 10mb, which might also be too limited. plus it makes for a crap commercial
Worth mentioning that this being an SGSIII, it uses S-Beam.
S-Beam will handshake a wifi-direct connection over NFC, and then push the video across at up to 300Mbps.
So based on the weeks that Apple take out of their ads with ‘Sequence shortened’, it’s safe to say that he’s got enough material for a few weeks away!
