Ben Collins, who spent seven years being The Stig on BBC’s Top Gear before getting himself sacked and relegated to Channel 5′s Fifth Gear for outing himself as being the anonymous race driver, has got himself the fantastic new gig of driving Bond’s DB5 in the new Skyfall movie.
Writing in some rather flowery prose for the Telegraph, Collins describes his experiences in the classic 1960s Aston Martin and driving a tuned Land Rover, the latter of which has been laughably modded to feature a pod on top of it, so Collins can drive it while the actors are filmed sitting in the seats.
Obviously you won’t see Ben in the odd little pod when Skyfall hits cinemas tomorrow. [Telegraph]
