Here’s something that will bring a smile to your face. This site takes a still frame from a big-time, multi-million dollar animated movie and tries to replicate it in Maya, the 3D animation software, in under 30 minutes. The results are hilarious.
Some of them are closer than other but they all struggle with the unbelievable detail that’s put into high quality animation movies from the likes of Pixar and Dreamworks. I sort of wish they had a whole movie with bootleg 30-minute version of Shrek and such though.
