Looks like LG’s having a tough time keeping things under wraps. I’m not sure Google’ll be too pleased, but what you’re looking at here is supposedly the official press shots of the LG Nexus 4.
Mind you, it’s not like we haven’t seen it before, and these shots show that prototype device was right on the money. It does have a nice big Nexus logo on the back, though, which is a break from every other Nexus phone so far, but lines up with what we see on the Nexus 7.
Of course, like every other leak, this could be utter claptrap, but it sure looks legit to me. Now all we need is a price out of Google and we’ll have everything there is to know. [Evleaks via Phandroid]

The word Nexus looks wrong and at best the rom isn’t stock (or its all photoshopped)
Three battery indicators on a “official press shot”, I don’t think so.
? I see a WiFi, Mobile Signal and Battery level indicators on the status bar, not 3 battery indicators…..
Never mind, I get the two on the left now!
Or is it? Take a closer look. It has 3 Battery percentage meters and the time shown in the centre, these are all fairly common rom hacks. Not convinced.
Looks the same as the Galaxy Nexus, just a different back. Not that that’s a bad thing.
- ‘nexus’ on the back I think is slightly off-centre to the left.
- Too many battery %age indicators
- Centered clock
- No evidence of a reflection, or even change of surface/colour at the bottom of the screen
That Nexus has PS written all over it.
Or BS. I am surprised at Sam posting this under the heading “This is…” rather than “Is this…”, still he’s an iPhone boy so it’s not his specialist subject.

Well it is an LG.
They make excellent televisions.
And Miele make excellent washing machines but it doesn’t mean either of them can make a good phones.

Looks worse than what I imagine a £99 nexus tablet would… If this IS the Nexus 4… Poor show. Google are in danger of making the nexus brand the “cheap option” IMO.
