Two Arrested at Heathrow Over New Terror Threats

By Gary Cutlack on at

Two passengers coming into the country from Egypt were arrested at Heathrow last night, as counter terrorism police held them under suspicion of doing much worse things than ogling the flight crew.

Police arrested the pair under the specific concern they were involved in the "commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism," although it's not currently thought they had bombs in their shoes, underpants or body cavities on last night's flight.

Few details have been given out by cops so far, although authorities have confirmed the arrests come as part of an investigation into travel to and from Syria in support of terrorist activity in the war-struck country. [Telegraph]
