The Anonymous hack attack on Israel has been continuing over the weekend, with government officials claiming it has seen some 44 million individual attacks made on its official sites. And only one was successful.

Israeli finance minister Yuval Steinitz didn't name the particular site that was breached, although he claimed it was back online and operational again within 10 minutes. Anonymous claims it's knocked out around 700 other, non-governmental sites in the country, as part of plan to "terminate the Israeli Cyberspace by any means necessary."

Meanwhile, Anonymous also claims to have stolen and leaked the home addresses, phone numbers and email addresses of around 3,000 people who it says have made donations to the local Unity Coalition political group. Some of which appear to be US senators. [Reuters & TNW]
