Listen – you DON’T have to line the pockets of Dr Dre if you want to get your hands on a new pair of headphones. Similarly, you can get good quality ‘head cans’ for a decent price without forking out for Simon Cowell’s new range as well.
Yes, instead of pumping more money into the faces of these show-off celebrities, why don’t you look elsewhere and donate cash into the moth-eaten coffers of a small-time brand like… erm, Sony? Here’s their white MDRZX100W headphones which come highly recommended by those who’ve tried them and can be yours for only £11.09 right now. That’s right – stick with lowly Sony and you’ll soon be defeating the likes of Dre and Cowell. You know it makes sense.

Hey Darrell, it’s your lucky day, pal.
Thanks, but Udimion already beat you to that taunt about an hour ago via G+
Well, I wouldn’t know that since you’ve never invited me….
Nobody needs to be invited. If you want to join just ask. I have said this so much on Giz that Kat became vexed with me. Fortunately she’s probably busy playing with her Nexus 4 and scoffing cookies.
Or playing with cookies and scoffing at those yet to receive a Nexus 4
Got to be better than reading the rants of a bitter old man
Now, now, just because Julian hasn’t received his N4 yet doesn’t make him old
I was talking about me, on Messenger, just now
I know, and I was conveniently dismissing your illusions of old age and sense of taste
On the subject of headphones, the RHA CA-200 are a rather awesome deal as well at the moment. I can attest first hand for the quality of the black variant which are both better sounding and more comfortable than considerably more expensive AKG models.

Ta.
Like the replaceable/removable cable and sounds like they’ll be decent enough for listening to MP3s.
I actually have these headphones in black, and I love them.
Will these be good for in the gym? Just bought some hoping they will be, and they can drown out the other music in there
I would’ve thought something in-ear would be more appropriate. Depending on what you’re doing, over-ears may become uncomfortable or fall off. As for drowning out background noise, highly likely – they output quite a lot of sound.
As Glenbot suggested, I’d go with something in-ear for that, but these are plenty loud, trust me!
Also some really nice phone bling here @ http://www.applecases.net
