Not apologising for anything, I’m not a NATO leader, I didn’t send a drone in to kill innocent people in a country we’re not at war with (e.g. Pakistan); the facts are out there and we’re the evil of the two.

Yes, as per the NATO airstrike and other incidents in war zones there are unfortuantly civilian casualties but if you think NATO forces do this on purpose then you’re nuts.

Somebody flying a plane into a building or detonating a suicide vest in a crowd deliberately targets civilians, normally in a non-war zone environment.

I’m well aware one mans freedom fighter is another’s terrorist but fighting against soldiers in my country to defend it is one thing, leaving my country to harm innocent civilians in a non-war environment is completely different.

Every profession has integrated, and when you consider that ethnic minorities make up less than 10% of the UK population some professions like journalism, dentistry, medicine and accountancy to name a few seem to be much more than 10%

People who emigrate here aren’t grouped together through subjugation and prejudice, they, just as the British overseas tend to do, gravitate towards each other for a sense of familiarity and help in navigating a foreign land.

If you’d read an earlier post from me you’d have seen my wife is an immigrant of 11 years who has integrated. In fact, when I originally found a couple of clubs/societies from her country of origin and suggested she attend her attitude was “Why would I want to sit around talking about the old country, I’m here, I want to succeed and be part of Britain, I don’t want to segregate myself”.

If I passed you in the street I’d judge you by your actions and the chip you appear to have on your shoulder. You seem to want to categorise me so easily as a racist (the sub human comment) when in reality your words indicate your racism towards me.

I have a problem with peoples actions (or lack of action) and that goes across any colour, racial, social, religious divide that may exist. I know and despair of the scum that Jeremy Kyle interviews (and they’re 99% white), the work shy families populating our old council estates (think Shannon Matthews family & the recent child murder in New Addington near Croydon) who are almost exclusively white, but I also worry about young boys (of all colours) growing up listening to Gangster-style music who think criminality or music is the only way to get ahead and anybody that emigrates here and lives here without integrating because without that they don’t understand society here and can fear it.

There are many things wrong with society but one of the biggest seems to be the dream-myth of multiculturalism, a noble idea but no country has really made it work and Britain has probably tried hardest. Wherever you look around the world you’ll see a small minority that have integrated to a degree but there’s comfort in familiarity (it’s human behaviour 101) and that doesn’t indicate subjugation and prejudice on the host countrys part at all.

Tolerance is a 2 way street and if you go into most Muslim communities you will see a failure to even to attempt to integrate with British mainstream society.

Our country is vastly more tolerant of Muslims here than most Muslim countries are of Christians and yet most Muslim immigrants that arrive here remain within their own communities making a mockery of the so-called desire for multicultural integration. Instead we have a community of less than 5% of our population often trying to wag the dog.
(And just for the sake of clarity I married a foreign citizen 11 years ago who has integrated completely and is more dismissive than I of other immigrants who fail to try to join British society).

@01101001: You can go ahead and register a domain with my address, I’m not sure you have it but given the rules in place via ICANN and the representing registries, it wouldn’t be live for long. Those addresses were taken from the domain prior to it being put behind privacy services which I copied from another post from a third-party site. I’ve asked for them to be removed to prevent you feeling as if I’m breaking anyone’s rights so hopefully Giz can do that for me.
