Haven’t we had enough of this yet? Nope — Gangnam Style‘s meteoric rise has been visualised by ChannelMeter, and it looks like it’s set to become the first video to get 1 billion views — that’s an American billion (1000 millions) by December.
Apart from this accolade, Gangnam Style-singer PSY received a certificate from the Guinness Book Of Records earlier this week, and even spoke at the Oxford University off the back of his insanely popular K-Pop song and dance. This puts him on par with The Dalai Lama, that woman with the super long nails, and Justin Bieber. [The Atlantic]

What Do You Get When You Slam Gangnam Style Into Wham? The Best Christmas Song Ever, Obviously
The album is already out
noted!
This assumes the growth continues through Christmas. I think that’s unlikely, since Gangnam Style is no longer being played in clubs, and everyone has already seen it.
Your maths is a little off; 7 billion people on the planet, less than 1 billion views; I think it’s safe to say that even if you take into account people to young to have seen it, and the number of computers vs the umber of people, not ‘everyone’ has seen it yet…
Well, obviously it was hyperbole! Use a little logic man.
I’m afraid Justin Bieber will get there first – he’s good 100m ahead of PSY now.
Worst Song Ever!

by “American billio”n, you mean the commonly understood, globally used, everyday parlance “billion”, right?
FYI, f**k the lack of an edit button – what is this, a 1988 bulletin board?
Same thought here, a billion is a billion, no one uses the English (1m * 1m) anymore, everyone understands 1bn to mean 1,000,000,000.
