We were treated to some leaked art and a few scant details yesterday, but now Rockstar has officially thrown up GTA V for pre-order and released some new art. GTA V is coming folks, and we just have to get past Christmas to get our filthy mitts on it.
So far, cheapest pre-order looks like Zavvi or HMV, but if you see it for anywhere cheaper than £40, help out your fellow drive-by-crazed Giz UKers, and chuck em in the comments.

I’m totally stoked too. I’ve loved every GTA since the beginning of time.
GTA, GTA: London, GTA 2 were aweseome too, and they had a birdseye view because of tech limitations
I remember a friend of mine getting GTA as a demo with PLaystation magazine.

I was 12 or 13 years old when i first played it hooked ever since… I guess killing hookers was my favorite past time ….

I could preorder and have it delivered to work, or I could just pick it up on launch day then play it at work. Either way, it’ll be an unproductive day when that game launches

I’ve been playing GTA4 TBOGT as a ‘good guy’, trying not to kill civilians.
I’ve stopped and called the ambulance a few times for people I’ve hit.
It’s a very very difficult game to not hurt people in though. One mission forces you to slaughter a ton of police – you can’t run around them.
I wonder when I can pre order the special edition…? I got that for GTAIV and it was totally worth it. £20 more, and it came with a whole bunch of stuff, all packed in a metal safety deposit box that I still use as a stash tin.

Whats more, dogs (and other live animals?) are pretty much confirmed now then. I wanna go cow tipping!
This is going to be a long few months before this comes out.. GTA IV is pretty much the best game created… I sold my copy after completing and then went out and brought it again…
Niko Belic has to be the coolest game character out there.. Drviing fast cars, shooting people, jumping rivers on motorbikes. Shagging hookers and then shooting them after all in a days work..
I love GTA4 but never liked Niko, thought he was the worst character since GTA3′s no-name guy.
