So something very peculiar is going on with my iPhone 5—I haven’t been able to successfully back up since updating to 6.0.1. A couple others on staff have encountered it too. The same error keeps occurring but I have no idea what that error is. Has anyone else encountered this issue? And if so, have you figured out a way to fix it?

My friends iPhone 5 has been raping his data allowance even when he’s on WiFi so check you usage.
I’ve managed to fix it. I threw away my iphone n got a s3. I’ve not had a problem with backing u since
So you managed to backup your S3 using iTunes?
F**k off. You are not helping at all,
Nowhere in this post does it mention the backup has to be done in iTunes.
So F**k off.
You’re a dumb ass troll.
Fuck off.
No, but with it being an iPhone, one would use one’s common sense to realise that yes, the backup has to be done via iTunes.
Works perfectly. My iPad3 has some sync/backup issues though…
Jeez, manual backups seem so primitive. I thought iOS had iCloud now?
It does but you can choose to back up to iTunes instead. Choice innit!
I’m having the same issue
That’s strange. I’ve had absolutely no issues at all backing up my Galaxy S3.
I’ve had sync issues with my 4th gen touch on 6.0.1 where it randomly decided to freeze when syncing, then delete 35GB of music, then refuse to resync it, then using a complicated procedure (I turned it off and on again) it synced properly. My backups work though.
Hi, glad you guys brought this up. It has definitely affected my Ipod touch since the update. Bloody annoying.
Why do people feel the need to say one phone is better than the other ie iPhone and Samsung S3? And on a post that has nothing to do with the S3. They need each other, it’s called competition. They spur each other on. I have an iPhone 5 (it’s the best device I’ve ever had) and don’t go slating the S3 at every opportunity.
Yes I’ve had issues, not backing up, but synchronising. iTunes saying there is not enough space on my iPhone for the library. The capacity indicator says there is. Clicking “do not warn me again” seems to resolve this.
Some people are just retards.. It used to be the hardcore iPhone fans but now the fandroids seem the worst (By a long way)
It’s generally the same for all tech: iPhone vs Android, SNES vs Megadrive, Playstation vs XBox, PC vs Mac, etc. Generally, cries of “my one’s the best” arise between the young and/or stupid. It’s difficult to tell how old/stupid someone is when writing online, so it’s hard to know who to ignore.
I’ve had no problems with backing up as far as I’m aware since upgrading but every so often my phone will decide to tell me my password for my work exchange account is incorrect even though it isn’t. Anyone else had that?
