Have you ever really stopped and wondered — like on a scientific level — why excessive alcohol consumption can turn someone into the life of a party? Or a blubbering mess?
ASAP Science breaks down the biology of how alcohol affects the neurotransmitters in the brain, resulting in slowed reactions, but greater clarity. It won’t make your next house party at that wierdo Burt’s place any less awkward, but at least you’ll have something intelligent to talk about to that hot girl you’re attempting to bump and grind with. don’t know how many hot girls you attempt to chat up, but why alcohol makes you act the way you do isn’t really what interests them :p
In my experience “something intelligent to talk about” rarely gets you anywhere no matter the subject.
ill tell you what does get you some where tho….. lots and lots of sambuccas

I never had a clue about how much UK people drink until one night I was working (waiter) at a random party at Waldorf-Hilton – yes, from waiter to mobile developer
.
At some point of the party some crazy ladies where already kissing the waiters and this russian guy who was also a waiter at the came me and said “You know, the english drink too much. Me and russian friends no drink so much. It’s crazy”.
Well I don’t know how you guys see it, but the very perspective that some culture could be more drinking prone than the russians was a chock to me (I was a very soft drinker by then).
