I feel awkward just hearing them being mentioned.
There is no room for voice mail in my life, and while we are at it, Iam not too fond of phone calls either.
I’ll give you a ring and we can chat about it,

being someone who wants to actually make a connection with my friends and family as well as needing to deal with people in business who want answers there and then and not spread out over a twenty minute texting campaign. I make lots of phone calls still

Agreed, I’m only 20 and I hugely value being able to hear someone’s voice or see them (video calling), I simply can’t get on with just textual communication, so much is lost in translation (even if you use dem smiley faces).
Why not send me a fax about that voice mail you left me.
I HATE FAXES. Why the hell would anyone still use these awful lo-res messages over email or even text messages?
Oh and you get a hell of a lot more done over the phone.
They’re great for sending signed documents over low-bandwidth secured phone lines.
I hate phone calls myself, and maybe that’s the sentiment on giz. But try to travel on a train without hearing half a dozen inane phone conversations. The comic is the way things should be, but aren’t.
I’m not even a millennial and this would annoy the hell out of me.
What is up with all the phone call hate? There’s no surer way of confirming that that hot sexy blonde you met on the internet is at least female or a young boy.
Oh mar gaaarrdd I only respond to people if they communicate via sms or facebook, even if we are face to face!

Sheesh, I love phone calls, hell, my current and past jobs require me being on the phone almost all day. It’s tedious with people who don’t have good telecommunication skills, sure, but it certainly makes a conversation easier I find.
Someone calls me, I pick up, I call someone else, and they don’t they normally call back.
