		<description>Agreed, it will surely work with current card readers. NFC is far from common place and other options replace the card entirely with a smartphone.</description>

		<description>I dunno, the size of a credit card worldwide is pretty much universal, I don&#039;t think MasterCard would want to deviate from that. Maybe the &quot;arse&quot; end of the card (which would never go in a reader anyway) is thicker cos it houses the LCD display? The numbers bit probably doesn&#039;t add much thickness.

It&#039;s an interesting concept, not the first time I&#039;ve seen it, but nice to see it&#039;s come to fruition.</description>

		<description>This is actually a really good idea. I do wonder how thick it is though - in order to have appreciable battery life and durability, I doubt it&#039;s thin enough to be used in a standard card reader.</description>
