Apple have now confirmed that this seems to be a fault with the human hand on not the iPhone 5, don’t worry there legal team is currently seeking a patient case.

It’s very hard to imply sarcasm in the written word I realise but even I am not that deluded to suggest this is a real ‘feature’.

I did find my eye scanning over the Nexus range earlier however.

emmm, Could be software still, as they have different builds.

Not much of an issue, someone with an iPhone 5 try this with that Fruit Slash game, Fruit Ninga? see if it also stops reading your touch, it could be within the OS scrolling itself, and not a system wide issue.

It does it on my iPhone 5. But perhaps it’s a safety feature to stop people getting friction burn on the tips of their fingers.
