In America it's ironic that Thanksgiving, a day for thinking about everything you have and being thankful for it, is sidled up right next to Black Friday, a day when people will trample each other to save a few bucks on electronics. Every year you hope it's going to be different, and every year YouTube is flooded with videos of people at their worst.

And once again it's a Walmart setting the scene, with early holiday shoppers screaming and battling for discount mobiles at a store in Moultrie, Georgia. What's more depressing here, watching these Black Friday shoppers tear at a plastic-wrapped crate of mobile like vultures on a wildebeest, or having to watch the whole thing on a smartphone video filmed in portrait orientation?
