While the lack of Spotify and Instagram apps has meant I’ve not changed over to Windows Phone 8 myself, if you’re equally as addicted to Skype, then you’ve got no reason not to switch platforms, as an early preview version of the VoIP app is available from today.
Features (in the high-design, slick-looking) app include integration with WP8′s people hub; compatibility with your Windows Live Messenger contacts, and the ability to receive calls and notifications when the app is closed.
As with any early builds, don’t expect this version to be as finely-tweaked as you might want, but rest assured that Skype will notify you when the next version is available to download. [Skype]

There are plenty of third party apps that offer this functionality (some for free even), though I don’t think a smart phone is the optimum device for you. Try going on Amazon and searching for “M-I-R-R-O-R”. Might be more cost effective, though probably not as “cool” looking when you’re skype-ing yourself while walking down the street. But hey, who cares what other people think when you don’t have any friends yes?

Yup, it’s not available for WP8 though.
It is now (as of this morning). Downloaded to my Lumia 920. Technically, they’re calling it a “preview”, but I haven’t found any essential feature missing at first glance.
