Even though we had crappier phones with crappier cameras, most of us still loved to document our not so crappy lives on our phones. New York artist Kyle M. F. Williams bought 44 Razr phones on eBay and found that “half of them still had texts, sexts, pics, and vids.” He put them all together in a book.
It’s funny how much of a digital trail we leave behind on our phones, especially phones that don’t have a clear and easy way in getting wiped. Williams says:
I bet nobody actually knew how to wipe these things. It takes like 10 steps to delete a photo in that shitty menu system. Who’s gonna do that for every sexy image you have in ‘My Pix & Flix’.
So Williams found that phones still had ‘personal’ text messages and hilarious pictures and put them all together in a book called Razr. The phones originated from an electronics repair shop out of Texas for only £60. A lot of laughs for 60 quid. Check out more of the lost pictures at BuzzFeed and Williams’ book. Years ago my Mums phone died so I bought the same one on eBay. When it arrived I naturally looked through it. First I found some bank details, incl. sort code, account number & long number.
Then I found recordings of the previous owner ‘pleasuring’ herself. Still feel sick thinking about it now.
After washing my hands with bleach we contacted her. She simply said she thought everything had been wiped off it.

Hey mate, how’s that new job in the Vatican working out?
Stunning, sir. Just think of something bad and you’re sentenced to eternal damnation.
Ahh, I can see how that would put you in an awkward position. Give my love to Jojo.
