Is there anything the remarkable Rasperry Pi can't do? After blazing through Quake 3 without issue, the Pi's got a brand new trick up its sleeve: Mincrafting.

Mojang itself has produced the port in collaboration with Notch, so it's an official release, and you'll be able to download it soon. Technically it's an iteration of the pocket edition, cunningly named the Pi edition, and will come packed with not only the ability to simply play, but to inject your own code in there, with support for several programming languages. That bit might be a tad over my head, but the Pi could end up being the cheapest and smallest LAN-party machine ever. Pi-fuelled Minecrafting anyone? [Rasperry Pi]
